Intent
Our KS4 curriculum is designed to offer a broad, balanced and personalised learning experience that supports both academic achievement and personal growth. Every student at Newbridge has an EHCP, and we tailor the curriculum to meet individual needs, interests and aspirations.
We aim to:

Implementation
Our KS4 curriculum combines core GCSE subjects, optional in-school pathways, alternative provision placements, and a rich enrichment programme. We personalise the learning journey based on each pupil’s strengths, learning style and future ambitions.

Enrichment Programme:
Our structured enrichment offer develops self-esteem, creativity and social confidence, supporting the ASDAN Personal Development Certificate (Level 1 & 2). Activities include:
- Singing, band, music performances
- Football training, gym, swimming, fishing
- Drama, enterprise, nurture, and community sport
- Guest speakers, theatre visits, interviews, charity events
- Residential trips and outdoor experiences (e.g., Duke of Edinburgh)
